Cwtsh artwork
After many months working on developing the artwork for the entranceway to the Cwtsh Arts Centre in Newport, it was finally unveiled at the end of November.
All the plaques are casts taken from pressing various flora into clay. I used Cassini’s plaster, which is suitable for outdoor use. The casts were made over 2 days by pupils from St Woolos Primary School in Newport.
The leaves in the centre were made by pupils from Clytha Primary school, year 3.
