Here's my mural in Blackwood High Street commemora

Here's my mural in Blackwood High Street commemorating the Chartist Rebellion of 1839.
Over 5000 workers marched down from the valleys to Newport to demand their democratic rights.
It's a fascinating story and well worth looking into.
It was the last large scaled armed rebellion against the authorities in Britain.
Funded by Caerphilly CBC

I designed this mural to celebrate 10 years of Pet

I designed this mural to celebrate 10 years of Petra Publishing.
They have produced 90 books by working with communities to highlight issues important to them.
I have illustrated around 18 books for them (maybe?).
This mural contains characters from around 25 stories and I've had the chance to draw other artists characters in my style, which I really liked.
Mike Church has written all these stories and it's been a pleasure working with him.
Let's hope that there's another 10 years ahead for our little Penguin and her friends 🐧🖤🩶

it's nice to look back on what I got up to.
Some murals, lots of good times with @fullcolourmaindee , some book illustrations, some lightpainting, some 360 photography, some laser cutting and some botanical tile murals.

All sorts of folk are lined up to get their work on the street for the event on the 28th (main day) and 29th.
Photography, vinyls, paste up, stencil, freehand spray, floor art, trompe L'oeil, collage etc etc
Lots of people and stuff tbc, but stick it in your diaries.

After a hard day of making art for people, I often wind down by making art for nobody.

We made around 200 of these colourful & chaotic li

We made around 200 of these colourful & chaotic lightpainting images over 3 days at Womad festival. I had a great team- Caroline, Blue, Sue, Sheleagh & Gaw
Hundreds of people came to pose and then joined in to paint with lights for other people's photos. It was great fun and a magical process under the trees in the early evening at a beautifully sunny Womad.

The animations, which captured the process , were taken using a GoPro 12, the main images with an Olympus em5. We have a great set up where the images are made available for instant download through a QR code.
The zooming animations are made with Google photos.
