Afon-y-Felin School Nature Murals

Finishing off the Kenfig project The final stage of the Kenfig mural was for me to install these hand painted vinyl stickers. All of the creatures are important species found at Kenfig NNR. Many of the creatures on the stickers are repeated on the main mural on the visitors centre, including; great crested newt; emperor moth; dark green fritillary; and poplar beetle. It is hoped that the stickers will help reinforce the pupil's knowledge and interest in the unique habitats around Kenfig. All the stickers were painted in acrylics by pupils from years 3,4,5 & 6 from the school. I added the drop shadows after the installation to give them a bit of 'pop'.
